Third Annual Chocolate Festival: April 29, 2006
While the apparent health benefits linked to chocolate consumption won’t have doctors prescribing Godiva confections just yet, there is some decidedly sweet news chocolate lovers can bite in to -- it’s time for the third annual Chocolate Festival.
This decadent event is scheduled Saturday, April 29, 2006 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the University of Richmond Robins Center. The Chocolate Festival allows the area’s finest chefs to showcase -- and share -- their chocolate masterpieces. The ticket price includes 14 delicious treat samples from the venue. The ever-popular Chef’s Demo Stage (10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.) gives fans a behind-the-scenes peek at the creation of delicious works of art.
Tickets are $10 per person, and are available at For the Love of Chocolate in Carytown (2820-A West Cary Street), and at the University of Richmond School of Continuing Studies (804-289-8133). Cafe Wired located on the Southside of Richmond has tickets available as well. Just fill out the form below and you will be contacted on how receive your tickets.
The Chocolate Festival is presented by the Virginia Chefs Association to benefit the Chef Otto Bernet Memorial Scholarship Fund.
